Your Cosmic Timeline: past, present & future

Spin the wheel through every year of your life. Barry lays the real planets of any date over your birth chart and shows, birthday by birthday, when to take advantage of the time and when to slow down and be careful.

How the Cosmic Timeline works

What am I looking at?

The inner ring is your birth chart: where the planets were the moment you were born. The outer ring shows where the planets are on the date at the top. When a moving planet lines up with one of your birth planets it forms a transit. Barry reads the slow planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) because they shape whole seasons of life, plus Mars, Mercury retrograde and eclipses for timing.

How do I move through time?

Drag around the wheel: clockwise goes forward, anticlockwise goes back. Choose whether one full turn is a month, a year or ten years. You can also use the slider, the arrow buttons, the life graph or the "Show on wheel" links in each birthday year.

What do "take advantage" and "be careful" mean?

Flowing transits (trines, sextiles and Jupiter contacts) tend to open doors, so they are good windows to start, ask, apply and launch. Tense transits (squares, oppositions and Saturn, Uranus, Neptune or Pluto contacts) tend to bring pressure, change or tests, so they are times to plan, rest, double-check and avoid rushing. Tense times also build strength.

Do I need my birth time?

No. Without it Barry uses midday, so your Moon may be a few degrees out and your Rising sign and Midheaven are left out. With it you also get career and image windows.

How accurate are the dates?

Planet positions are calculated in your browser and agree with professional astronomy software to within about a tenth of a degree from 1900 to 2099. Windows use a 2 to 3 degree orb, so the start and end dates are approximate by a few days.

An honest note: astrology is a tradition for reflection, not a prediction of fact. Use your timeline as a lens for planning, never as a reason to ignore good advice, medical care or your own judgement.
